New Jersey “Real Housewife” Sells Belongings is a copyrighted article from the World Correspondents
This just goes to show that the difficult economy is indeed still difficult (contrary to what most financial experts and economic spin-doctors are saying that the recession is over) and that it spares no one — not even a reality TV star.
In a twist of fate, reality TV-style, New Jersey “Real Housewife” Teresa Giudice and her husband are selling off the contents of their Towaco mansion in a bankruptcy auction scheduled for August 22.
According to E! Online, among the items up to be auctioned off are a grand piano, two flat-screen TVs, a steel snow plow, a suit of armor, an oversized wall mirror, a stainless steel oven range, a jet boat, an antique-style pool table, a decorative urn, framed paintings, a foosball table and much more. The auction will be facilitated by A.J. Willner Auctions and will be on the Giudice premises itself. The mansion consisting of 16 room and 10,000 square-feet might be next to be disposed of.
Teresa said their downfall is largely “Due to the economy, most of my husband’s real estate ventures failed despite his hard work and effort. As a result, we looked to the Bankruptcy Court for a ‘fresh start.”
